About Joanne
Joanne Paterson (formerly JP Hair Design Ltd, Witney) has 30 years’ experience in the hairdressing industry and had worked successfully as a freelance hairdresser for the past 18 years. She has worked both freelancing and as a salon senior stylist and Manager in Colchester before relocating to Witney in 2000 and setting up her own business seven years ago. The success and growth of JP Hair Design Ltd, in such a short space of time inspired Joanne to move to larger premises in Bampton where she opened Spring Hair and Beauty on the 6th December 2005.
Joanne has extensive experience in specialist hairstyling for weddings, balls and historical recreations. If you are looking for a stunning style for your wedding day or indeed you are attending a special occasion and would like a very special look then this is indeed Joanne’s forte. Her versatility in hair design has evolved from her work with English Heritage through Double Time Historical Interpretations. Among the historical hairstyles she has researched and designed are those for an historical recreation at Osborne House on the Isle of Wight. This is by far a wider experience in this area of hair design than is found in most salons, ensuring the look you achieve is one of pure professionalism and most definitely head turning!
Her expertise in technical cutting, colouring, hair extensions and enhancements is unrivalled and ensures her team keep to her high standards. By attending regular courses in London to keep up with the latest methods and technology you are sure to be receiving cutting edge techniques without paying London prices!
Joanne is sought after for her knowledge and expertise and has been involved in organising and demonstrating in Fashion Shows and Wedding Fayres. Her most worthy venture was organising a Ladies Pamper Day at a local hotel as well as promoting local businesses this also raised funds for the ABC charity. For Joanne being in business is an opportunity to support her local community.

The Success of Spring
We have now approached the end of our third year of trading, and I am in ore at how fast and successful the business has grown. I put that down to the tremendous support and encouragement from my clients, staff, business associates and my wonderful daughter Hanna.
I am also very proud and privileged to have had such dedicated and enthusiastic staff. We have tremendously fun, and a light hearted laugh in the salon. Our clients enjoy the topics; from novels to allotments - the ‘Hello Magz’ to walking in Nepal! The Salon has a real comfortable and professional atmosphere, and we are often praised on how tasteful the décor is and how clean the salon is.
It is also wonderful to see the hair and beauty salon working together in harmony with client that maybe short of time, having a colour and while processing, getting a manicured, or with the ease of FREE parking and the Salon in a central location, making it ideal for spending time and relaxing with our comprehensive range of ‘top to toe’ hair and beauty services.
With ongoing training and continuous ways of looking at how the Salon can be improved is always to the forefront of our mission.
